Hi,
On some sony websites it say maximum capacity for Xperia Z2 Tablet is 64gb ( http://www.sonymobile.com/gb/products/tablets/xperia-z2-tablet/specifications/#tabs ), and on others it states 128gb ( http://www.sony.co.uk/electronics/xperia-tablet-z/sgp511-sgp512-sgp521/specifications ) I have provided both links for you to check.
Please can you advise mw which one is coorect so I can purchase the correct card.
Hi and welcome to the community! Since you're new please be sure that you have checked out our Discussion guidelines.
Sony Xperia Z2 Tablet supports microSD, microSDHC, microSDXC up to 128GB. It supports the speed class 2, 4, 6, 10, and UHS.
Unless you take lot of photos, download videos, and music the sd card is useless. My magizine app can't store my magazines on the sd card or anything else except photos videos and music. Sony tablet setting won't allow as well as the file commander app won't let me change the default download location to the sd card. So all my pdf's and documents get stored on the 16gb internal memory of which only 11gb is available to be used I don't use the tablet to take photos, or download video or music so my 32gb sd card is useless. If I only knew before I forked out good money on the tablet and sd card.
You can store documents on SD card, but they will be read only for other apps that File Commander. This is unfortunately Google limitation on KitKat and newer.
