SD card problem

hallo , i just want to know what
to do with a new SD card.. when
i put it in my phone all my photos
where gone but music still there...
when i recieve new photos it doesn't
save the photos .. is there something
i need to do before i can save files to
the card??

Hallo, I am new to android and Sony.

I played around with apps and settings to get use to everything

 I decided tot reset my phone using SUS to remove all apps and clean

up the phone, but when I turned on the phone after software installation

playstore started to download all the apps i wanted removed automatically

(I cancelled the downloads) and all photos and music was still there.

and when i view my internal storage all the files of old apps was still there.

I want the phone to be the way it was when i first turned it on.

please help

Settings > storage > clear internal storage then repair it with SUS
