SD Card not supporting to my Xperia Z3 :(

Hi I bought Xperia Z3 in Ebay and received today. I am checking one by one functions.

I am also having Xperia Z1. I used NITRO566X Micro SD XC1 Class 10 64GB. Its working perfectly in Xperia Z1. But I just inserted in Xperia Z3, it showing damaged SD card. Slightly_frowning_Face It not reformating it too.

Is my Xperia Z3 is not recognizing SD Card? Please give me solutions asap. I will go to service center then. Help me. I spent lot of money on this Slightly_frowning_Face Feel sad.

I love Sony thats why I bought all xperia series. Cant tolerate.

4K videos have a bitrate around 55-57 Mbps (~7MB/s) and Full HD somewhere around 15-17 Mbps (~2 MB/s).

Just bought the z3 with tmobile and am having the exact same issue. It is a 64 gb PNY micro sd and was working just gine on my z and laptop. But when i plug it into my z3 i get "damaged SD". I formatted it on the laptop, tried a different card on the z3 and it it worked. I will do a factory restore to see if that helps later tonight ,but i am hoping i don't have to wait for some update to be able to use my pefectly working sd card.

Re-installed the operating system still with no luck. I may go back to the store and see if another device will do the same thing. It reads every other card i have at my house just fine, but not the 64.

Hi,

Wondering if anyone had discovered a solution, or can advise of a SD card which is known to work with the xpria z3?

I know 2 people with 32 GB or larger SD cards, which do not work / are unstable on the Xperia z3 compact.

see here also for others experiencing the same

Having exact same issue! Whish Sony would respond!

Error "Damaged SD Card". Unable to mount a 64Gb SD card in my Z3. Same card works fine in my Z1. My 16Gb SD card works in both phones. Tried formatting the 64Gb card in both phones aswel as a WIndows and Linux PC. Tried FAT, exFAT and NTFS with no success. Both are new Sandisk Ultra Plus Class 10 micro SD cards (Spesificaly made by Sandisk for Android devices). Both phones running latest Kitkat 4.4.4 firmware available from Sony.
