SD Card/ Internal storage - backup

Hello,

The Xperia SL (as am sure all the other Xperias) have a system wherein I can't control where the data gets stored. Since it has an inbuilt SD Card and not an expandable memory, every time I take a back-up, I don't know how to select the SD card contents. The back-up message from PC Companion warns me that anything stored in the SD card will not be backed up. Then what do I do about: Images, albums, text messages, documents, etc.?

Am not worried about Apps as those can be reinstalled anytime, but these? What does one do?

The easiest method when it comes to backing up media data is to simply drag and drop the files into a location on the PC so that you can then reverse the process when you want to restore them to the phone.
