If it is not happening in safe mode, it would indicate that a third party app is causing the problem.
The first thing to do is make sure all your apps are completely up to date. After that, try removing apps one at a time and testing after each until you identify what app is the issue.
Alternatively, you can run a software repair using Xperia Companion which will erase all data on your phone and start fresh. Make sure you backup your data first.
