screen not responding incoming call

Hello,

Sometimes screen stays black en is not lighting up by an incoming call. Only way to respond is by powering the power button.

Is there a fix for this?

Make sure that you have the latest version of the phone software and that there are no screen protector covering the proximity sensor. 

If it still won't work I suggest that you try to master reset the phone via Settings > Backup & restore.

yes i have the latest software en no screen protection.

Is this option the same as pc companion repair or is backup and reset on the phone best option?

Mine does the same, also the call doesnt hang up after person has hung up. Sony sony sony.... Sigh....
