Screen Misalignment fix DIY?

As the title says, I was wondering if I can use a hairdryer to soften the glue on the front screen panel and realign it myself with no problems.

I'm only worried that the display might get ruined from the excessive heat, and that the display might even just start falling out.

I doubt it as the LCD pannel on the front is all one unit and sealed so you won't be able to move just the glass unlike the back pannel - But even if you could you would loose your waterproof effectiveness and would need to replace the sealant
