Screen flickering 4.3

Flashed Generic AU .266 C5303 to my UK unbranded C5303 and my screen/backlight is flickering like a pulse. Anyone else experiencing these issues?

Strange thing is, that on 4,3 antutu shows 23500 on my device :))) I got the flickering too.

yep.. me 2.. i think its because of newer gpu drivers... and i can imagine also that something with drivers cause the problem.. cause as i said its on kernel (i can see flickering in cwm when i have 4.3 kernel installed)

After a few weeks of using 4.3, all i can say is im downgrading to 4.1.2 tonight simple because of the performance and not being able to set brightness to full without noticing the flickering...

even if u set brightness to low flickering-lag still excists but you will not see the brightness flickering... check it by slow move your ui

Yeah, the flickering is still present, its just not as noticeable with brightness down, just to confirm!

the phone is unusable with brightness full... Unless u want a headache or epileptic fit.. Thinking_Face

I had and have the problem with both the original firmware and the upgrade to 4.3.

When holding the phone in my hand (let's say in a 80° angle) the screen starts flickering in the sense that epileptic people would get a seizure - it's really like a stroboscope. Not on/off off course, just bright - less bright.

Holding the phone in a more flat angle makes it disappear.

I guess the light sensor and/or the reaction to it is just too sensitive.

But ... what to do about it?

+1(and 8 my friends)

Recently upgraded from 4.1.2 to 4.3 and noticed a bug - the screen starts to twitch when it is presented something gray (picture, shutter, volume slider, etc.). Very noticeable at maximum brightness (disable automatic brightness adjustment does not work). Did a master reset - but also to no avail.
Tried to flash a different region - the same problem.
Flashed 4.1.2 - all okay.
The same problem is seen more in seven others - and it is not a hardware problem, a software problem.
