Screen does not turn on xperia p (accelerometer problem)

Good afternoon people,

I have a problem in my xperia p I wonder if anyone here has had the same problem and if there is any solution to it.

Recently upgraded my phone to the Jellybean and with that my accelerometer stopped working, when I turn the phone nothing happens, it just turns the screen when i go into any app that turn so automatically, or camera, it was not seen, nor viewing photos or youtube.

When i go into test mode shows the accelerometer axes x, y. and z without values.

Can someone help me? what do I do?

Thanks for all.

The screen does not autorotate unless you are in an app that permits you or if you are charging your phone.

Thanks for the reply, but that is not what happens ...

The screen does not turn unless there is some app that force her to turn!

When I enter the test mode and realize the test accelerometer, this shows the cordenados x, y and z values without.

I've done reinstalling the Rom and nothing of the problem being solved.

I think what is happening is that my accelerometer is not connected, or is not working.

I really need help, if anyone has been there and been able to resolve, please help

Well, if you've tried correcting any possible software issues, the next step would be to send the phone to a service center as it might be hardware related.

Hey guys,

Apparently managed to solve my problem, I installed an app that forces the display rotation. (The app works very well and is very good for those who want to force the screen to stay in a unique position when it is reading or watching something) when I entered the app's navigation Chorme, held this rotation alone, took the test several times in different app that support rotation and it worked.

I went into test mode (* # * # 7378423 # * # * in dialer) to confirm that everything was working and confirmed! My accelerometro working again!

Well, for now I'm still monitoring to see if he will not stop working again, but for now at least, everything is ok 😃

For someone with the same problem, here's the app I used:

Display Orientator

Developer:

RubberBigPepper

Price: Free

He is free on PlayStore, but how it worked and solved my problem, I bought the pro version to help the developer, but the free and pro are the same thing.

Thanks for all attentions!!!
