screen black during the call

Hy everybody ,when my phone rings and i answer my screen suddenly is black and my on/off button doesnt work

Is it black when you hold it to your face or if you answer the call when the phone is for example flat on a desk

I am holding the phone in front of me and i am trying to tap the screen to add another call or mute. But is black and i have to push several times the on.off button to wake the screen.

Is the proximity sensor partially or completely covered ?

Looking at the phone with the screen in front of you the sensor is top left of the Sony logo.....

No its not covered at all,is there anywhere a setup or something? Because i cant find it

If you type in *#*#7378423#*#* this will take you into the Service menu......press Service Tests & scroll down to Proximity Switch, press this then you can test if it is working & let us know :smileysmileythumbsup:
