Hello,

I bought a bluetooth SBH20 headphone today. It seems to be recognized and works fine with phone and Mac.

However I couldn't connect it to my PC. The device is recognized by the bluetooth and the drivers installed, but when I try to connect it it says : "error connecting to headset, Please retry this operation".

Would anybody know what the problem could be and what I could do to solve it ?

Hi and welcome to the community! Since you're new please be sure that you have checked out our Discussion guidelines.

Are you using Windows preinstalled drivers? In that case, you may need to contact the maker of your PC and/or USB-bluetooth dongle to get information where you can install/update your drivers for your Bluetooth stack. This means that if you e.g. want to be able to connect and use the A2DP Bluetooth-profile the PC / Bluetooth adapter have to support that particular Bluetooth profile and the manufacturer of the PC / Bluetooth adapter must provide drivers.

I have the exact same problem and haven't been able to resolve the same for months now. The bluetooth headset works find with my Sony Xperia but fails to connect with my Dell PC
