SBH-52 with Windows Phone 8

Hello Everyone!

I just bought a Sony SBH52.

I would like to use it with my Lumia 1520. But it appears that the SBH52 works only with Android!!!

Does it exist a way to make SBH52 worked with a Windows Phone 8 ??

Hi and welcome to the community! Since you're new please be sure that you have checked out our Discussion guidelines.

It should work just as any Bluetooth headset to any device but you'll miss out on the special features if you don't have a Android device.

No tests have been made with Windows phones I believe so I can't promise any functionality. But perhaps you could tell us more about the problem you run into?

Indeed, the SBH52 connect fine with my lumia. Bluetooth and NFC work great. But of course, I don't have any special features since there is no dedicated apps.

I was just wondering if it was possible to find this kind of apps for my windows phone.

Without this apps, the SBH52 is nearly useless. I just can pick-up the phone. I can't see if I have text message. I also can't look for a contact in my phone and call it...

I'm quite disapointed to bought it...

Previously before update FW  for the SBH52 I can connect with Lumia 1520 
But after the update FW for the SBH52 I can not connect anymore 
Why?

PBAP 1.1  profile should provide support for lumia

Sony why their no app from Window phone... please do need as many people do not buy sinnce it does not have dedicated Win app

please create one it would definately arising profile of this wonderfull product
