Reccurent shutting down of Xperia M dual

My Xperia m dual is shutting down in a recurrent manner, all this started after the recent software update. Also the T9 key pad option is missing after the update.

I am told by the service centre that it is a problem with my SIM cards and I changed my SIM cards twice, but the problem persists.

Now I am told by the Service centre that it is a problem with my BSNL SIM, due to some recent changes which they have made, "area specific" that is what I understand. I am from Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala, Does such a problem exist ?

I am finding it extremely diffult to "use" this device. what should I do ?

HI,

My Xperia M Dual started shutting down repeatedly, I had tried updating the software, repairing the software (many times), changing my SIM cards (twice in fact) as adviced by the service personnel - but no positive results so far.

Moderator Alexdon suggested contacted support staff, which I am doing now as a last resort. The phone is just 8 months old and I have reached a stage where it is impossible to continue with this hand set. Either get it repaired / replaced or throw it back at the manufacturer and go for some other brand-that is where I am right now. I am sorry if it sounds rude. It sounds ridiculous to hear that the problem is due to one of the SIM cards which I am using - the BSNL one, how can it be that the BSNL Sim is not suitable for this one particular model only.In between, the SIM under suspicion is a micro SIM and not a cut one. I am not a phone addict, but being a Doctor by profession, I find it extremely difficult to continue with this device which is non functional most of the time.

please help me

Thank You-PRADEEP:smileycry::smileyshocked::smileyangry::smileysad:
