SBH 52 app don't work anymore with Android 4.3

C6833 unlocked Aus version

after updating to 4.3 via PC Companion, SBH52 app will no longer trigger from connecting with SBH52. The two devices are connected and can be use for phone, but extra functions like call history, speed dial, "New Events" and the clock on SBH52 no longer displays. 

Already did the following -

Reinstall the SBH52 app
Reinstall SBH52's firmware

My only speculation is the app requires update.

Update - Uninstall "Smart Connect" (you cant fully uninstall it bcoz is native) and update it again, this seems to solve the issue.

with today update finally sbh50 works perfectly, but I have a question.

Is there a way to select and call the last number by double-clicking the call button? Not implement all the standard procedure?

On My htc one Android 4.3

2 big problems

1_ i can't hear my music because  disconnection every  3/4 minutes

2_ if i made a phone call it works,  if i receive offen i can push the button for answer but i have to speak and listen with the phone. 

Different problems if i use sbh52 with Samsung s4 i9505 (4.3) don't works well, continuos disconnection,  ecc. Ecc.... 

Note  that i have paired many times,  i try (and now i use)  limeware 3.3.10 It's little better

I try also without sony software,  i update again  firmware by my pc not by phone  but..... Nothing

Don't  buy!! 

I think that sony sbh52 is good for garbage.

I'll forward this as feedback. And as you say, the issue with Smart Connect and Android 4.3 is fixed in the Smart Connect version that was released a while ago.

I cannot enable\disabile text to speech after the update from android 4.2 to android 4.3. The app crash! I have tried to reinstall apps (both sbh52 and smart connect) but it did not work. I have the following exception:

java.util.MissingResourceException: no 3-letter country code for locale sr_cyrl

After some days from the update, this is only the minor problem. Sbh52 continuosly disconnessione without reason and without any advise. Also smartwatch 2 doesn't work anymore. I absolutely need to downgrade my Xperia z1. How can I do?

When I got the SBH I was so impressed that it just worked. Alas it no longer does and the only thing I've done (that I'm aware of) is update to .136 (Sony, not custom).

When it worked TTS would alert me to notifications, read them out on the headset and unpause music, Great.

Now when I get a notification it pauses what I'm listening to, speaks the notification via loudspeaker on phone, not the SBH, and even more annoyingly I have to clear all notifications on the phone manually to restart the music.

What was an awesome gadget has now become so useless I don't even use it anymore.

I tried using SoundAbout but it routes all notifications to the speaker too no matter what options I select.

I have also followed all the cache clearing and uninstalling mentioned here to no avail.

This is the first time I've missed Apple's reliability since I jumped fro iOS to Android last month.

Any ideas?
