safe disconnection USB

I have an Xperia Neo V, connected to a pc with windows 7 ultimate, when I disconnect I can not find a way to do it safely.
No icon appears on the taskbar or in the browser gives me the option to pass.
How I can do?

if its connected via the mass storage mode, you should see it on safety remove icon., but if it is on media sharing mode, you can remove the device quite safely.
