ROOT LOCKED/UNLOCKED BOOTLOADER (LAST POST)

Hello Folks,

After buying a beautiful phone called Xperia P i was very happy , untill sony provided me with regular doseof BUGdates the so called updates. Finally i knew the so called warranty was useless when u couldnt use your phone properly on the stock shit(Frustrated for past 8 months) ,so i unlocked my bootloader and rooted my device and after trying the different mods and tweaks i guess now i have a perfect device with me thanks to Devs @ "XDA" rather than SONY.

Since i am a heavy user this combination gives me very good performance and a Screen on time of above 4hours 30 min.

The maximum Standby that i have got is lost 1% of battery in 10 hours ie 11pm to 9am.(I do not use stamina mode ever its buggy shit)

and yes i am on 2G network and leave my data packet on throughout. this app Battery defender just switches it off when ur screen is off and ur back online when the screen is on,works better for me than stamina mode. I do not have the Lag in dialer (ppl say it lags for 10 -15 seconds:smileyshocked: why the hell is this called a phone then :smileyshocked:).

its ok to root your phone my friend.. the only downside is that you can brick your phone and thats on your own risk.once your rooted you can still update your phone using pc companion and sus.

try that steps on your post..you'll never see if you will not try.. if something goes wrong, repairing your phone will not be a problem. post the result after following the steps on your post goodluck!

hi how did u root ur xperia p without unlocking bootloader ... jus rooting to gain root acces?? pls tel me the steps so i can use some root apps to increase performance in my xperia p ..

Hello my friend i did try . i took 10 shots per min 5 times. it didnt freeze. May be its the kernel issue.

for locked BL i read the procedure .. i wanna go back to ics and then to jb with prerooted rom .. earlier u said Bravia engine doesnt work, track id doesnt work etc na ??? same continuos if i follow this procedure ah??? If i do in this way ill be in same sony stock rom right??? coming nov my warranted expires, so gonna try out custom rom ... is there any disadvanteges in ur custom rom and kernel as of now, like any app or something doesn't work??? thanks in advance
