ringtone not working

i have anroid 4.3 on my xperia m.

issue is that when i recieve any call ringtone not works.

i checked my setting completely and all settings/volumes are ok.

please help me to fix this issue,

Are you using the preloaded ringtones or your own ringtones? does the loudspeaker work at all?

Settings-apps-all,tap on settings (3 dots) and reset app preferences. Set up your ringtone and check.

What happens when you get SMS or App alerts, do you get a notification sound, or is this only related to Ringtones for calls.

other tones are working perfectly, problem is just with ringtone, i dont have installed any third party ringtone app.

Can you check if the same occurs in safe mode?
