my ring tone just does not ring even after adjusting the volume, what do i do?

Is your phone in silent mode?Try to force restart(power button+vol up until the phone vibrates).Check after.

Have you selected a default ringtone or a ringtone stored on internal storage/SD card? You can try to turn off your phone and remove the battery for a while to see if the ringtone comes back.
