I am very interested in purchasing an Xperia Z5 Compact or Z3 Compact phone. I’ve tried repeatedly to ask Customer Service for a reputable retailer where I can purchase an unlocked device for use in the United States, since they are not readily available here. They direct me to a defunct Sales Department phone number, which tells me to go to sony.com, where these two devices aren’t even listed. I’m getting really frustrated and about to just give up and get a new iPhone. Sony is a business, shouldn’t you be trying to get me to spend my money with you?
I hear you, it seems the best way to get a Z5/Z5C/Z5P is through amazon at the moment.
Very frustrating, this is the best phone on the market (imho) and we can't get it in the US? Makes no sense. I'm a bit wary to purchase on Amazon due to the lack of warranty. It would be nice if we could at least get an update as to when/if they plan to release the Z5 Compact to the US market at some point...
I totally agree with you, it'll be nice to have it available either unlocked or through T-mobile and/or AT&T
it is an American chain, but we don't have those phones, now I wonder if someone buy the phone at a European BestBuy store, what will happen to the warranty, would it be through Sony or will it be through BestBuy since they have extra insurance/warranty, if so, would it work if the phone its in the US instead of Europe?
If anyone in Europe have some spare time to ask this questions at a local European BestBuy store, it will be appreciated
