Replacing default Camera App.

Is it possible to replace the default camera app, i.e. the one that gets started when you use the "Quick launch" slider from the lock screen?

I have a 3rd part app (Camera Zoom Fx) that I prefer to use, but Quick launch always starts the Stock camera app.

I tried uninstalling the stock app (I'm rooted) but that just stopped it working completely.

I'm running ICS [ 6.1.1.B.1.10  ]

Yes. But in Quick launch, NO.

In other app, (like Instagram, Whatsapp, Facebook, Twitter) you can change the default one.

Goto Camera FX>Settings>Default camera> Mark. Done!

anyway, did you face any problem in camera fx? I have problem with Flash, while taking photos with flash on, the flash isn't as bright as in the stock camera app.

Yes, there is a problem with the flash in.

The problem is that the flash comes on while the camera focuses, then switches off just before the image is captured. Result: there is NO flash at all in the image.

I have Emailed AndroidSlide (Writers of Camera Zoom Fx) about it.

Cool. CameraFX would be my default app but for that reson.

I use it only when I need micro focus.
