Replace only digitizer

I do not think replacing the digitizer "only" is not allowed.. Not sure about this but the official Sony service center, one of it here in Philippines, did not allow digitizer only replacement.
I had a digitizer problem but they did not allowed the digitizer only replacement. They replaced the entire front panel. I did not complain because the replacement was covered by warranty.
