Repeated problem on Xperia Tipo [Single Sim]

Hi Sony,

This is Hariharan from Chennai, I own Xperia Tipo [Single Sim]. It’s been about 9 months since I bought it.

In the month of March'13 I got a problem on touch screen with my mobile and hence taken it to the service center. They said that there was a problem with Touch pad and have replaced them.

Till 1st of June'13 it was working well, but suddenly my mobile stopped working; none of the controls are working. I took it to the service center again in Chrompet and they said that there is a problem again in Touch pad and hence needs to be replaced.

I am really disappointed that the same [Touch] problem is repeated again within 9 month since I bough the mobile and with the quality of mobile provided to me.

I spoke to customer care [1800 3000 2800] thrice; first with a person named Mr. Rajiv, second with Ms. Renu and then with a Senior Executive by name Mr. Rahul but I did not get the proper response at all. They understood the problem but just asking me to take them to the Service Center and have them repaired.

My issue is that currently I have warranty for the mobile, so it is fine for me to take them to Service Center, which itself is a trouble for me. But what if the same thing happens after the warranty period is over.

I am really not ready to take the same DEFECTIVE product again and I need a proper justification for this. Below you can find the ticket id I have created with regards to this issue.
