Regarding touch screen - need support

Its true that there are so many threads on touch screen problem and I'm also face this issue ..

But what I need to know is,,

Will Future software updates solve this touch scrren problem ??

I'm not angry if it take months for ICS UPDATE (My SI 1261-8812) but Will software updates solve this ?? ( I don't think this issue is 100% related to hardware faulty.... Because I didn't do anything stupid to my phone :smileygrin: nyway I tried resetting + all those suggested methods)

please, for god's sake SONY staff,, can you please verify this .!!

P.S- There is no official SONY store in my country ( If there were I would surely buy from a official store),, And I bought a SONY product because of the trust & Love towards the brand ( My sis uses a Xperia P and I was the one to sugges that   ) .. I just needed to know whethere I need to replace the digitizer (costs $50 + ,, which is 1/7 of the price I paid to phone 5 months back) or wait for updates .. please help SONY

Most probably the update will solve the issue! but if you haver the original screen guard try replacing it! there is a problem in the original screen guard as i have read on other posts!
