Recovering contacts from a dead phone

Hi,

My sony experia was hit by a car and died. All my contacts are on the phone, and obviously I cannot reach them anymore.

I used a native apps to backup the contacts, so they must be stored somewhere. My question is where...

Is there a way to reach the apps through my computer and export the contcts to my google account?

Thanks,

Joana

Hi and welcome to the community! Since you're new please be sure that you have checked out our Discussion guidelines.

Unfortunately, if your phone is dead and wont power on you will not get a connection via a PC. Thereby, you can not get move any information from your phone to your PC.

Which app did you use to back up your contacts? Depending on what app you have used, the app itself might have synced the information to a cloud or similar (if the app had this possibility).

Hi,

Thanks for the reply.

I've used a native apps, I mean a default application. It was something like "Contacts backup" or alike. So the contacts should be in a cloud somewhere... Unfortunately I don't remember the name of the apps Slightly_frowning_Face

Do you know whish is the default backing up application for Sony Experia Tipo dual sim?

Thanks,

Joana
