"xperia with facebook" does not sync

Hi,

I bought a xperia z ( C6603) 5 months ago and reset it to factory settings in July as my cousin had downloaded lot of unwanted apps. After reformating and everything as per the instructions on web and also on the phone, when I tried to sign in to the facebook app and sync the ‘xperia with facebook’ sub-app, which syncs photos from facebook to my phone it says “error. Please try again later” please help.

Have you tried to connect to both Wi-Fi and mobile network when you try to sync? You can try to remove the proxy settings from your Internet APN if you go to settings > more.. > mobile network > access point name > select your internet APN > remove settings for proxy and port.

Restart phone and try again.

If the problem persists,  I suggest that you try to clear data and uninstall updates for Facebook under settings > apps > Facebook. 

Restart your phone, update Facebook app through Google Play and try again.
