PS3 Controller Button mapping switched

Hi,

I have plugged in and setup my PS3 Dualshock controller with no problems and it is working except for the fact the X and 0 buttons are switched round. e..g X goes back and O selects. Same goes for Square and Triangle. I believe this is the Asia settings for PS3 button configuration, except my phone is from the UK and so is my PS3 pad.

This is quite annoying on many games, I cant seem to find anywhere to change this.

Is this a bug as it kind of ruins the experience?

Any ideas appreciated, Can i change the change / check the region of the phone?

Hmm it may just be an issue with GTA San Andreas after further testing
