Proximity sensor/screen issue during call

My screen goes black during call as normal
But the screen can still register touches
This made me end call(via my face)several times!

Anyone else with similar issues?

I had the following problems with my Xperia Z2

1.- When place a call the screen goes black inmediately and only come back after the call ended

2.- Auto bright not working properly

3.- Low level notifications

All 3 were solved by taking out the tempered glass I installed at the very moment I received the phone.

I am also having this problem during calls.. Even though the screen has been turned off by proximity sensor, touches have been registered by screen which results in opening of applications etc.... Sony, please do something about this at the earliest.

Cruz, I'm using Ultimate Shield tempered glass and don't have any problems you had. Can you share with us which tempered glass you had been using?

I cannot put the phone to my ear because it's too hot!

I don´t know the details of the tempered glass, it was instaled in a shop and I didn´t keep the package.

But I know other type of tempered glass work fine and is good to know the one you use is one of them.

Now I realize that the problem is with the tampered glasses wich has not a hole for the proximity detector, this means, or not holes at all or one hole only for the front camera

same here, just had the phone replaced due to charging problems and still have call issue, not good, was going to bye a screen protector but was informed that they would not sell or fit one due to the sensor issue.

I just got a Z3 compact and the same problem.  Clearly a bug throughout the Xperia range!
