proximity sensor issue

My Xperia L sensor is always on and my Front camera is not clear because of this...What to do???

Hi, 

The proximity sensor should not make the front camera clear. 

Since you say that the proximity sensor is on all the time, have you applied any screen protector or case that covers the proximity sensor and perhaps also interferes with the front camera?

This issue might have raised due to the screen protector. Normally custom made screen protectors won't have the cut out at the top left where the front facing camera and sensor is located. Try changing the protector with a new specified one. Ther are specified screen protectors are available in the market which has a cut-out precisely made in order to proper ficntioning of the sensor. Also there may be any dirt or dust particles over the sensors which may also disturb the sensor functioning. I don't know it may be. if same persists please contact the nearest service provider.

Please do not use such large fonts.The sensor seems to be a common issue for Xperia L.I suggest you repair phone with sony update service or just take the phone into service for further assistance.

My Xperia SP turn the display off when its in a call.Then it just wake up when the call ends. It is a proximity sensor issue? I just updated it to Android 4.3
