Problems with the update 32.A.0.253, heating up phone, draining the charge battery...

After reading various topics decided to create this topic in order to alert the Sony, the following problems are being reported in the most diverse topics, after upgrading to version 32.A.0.253.

* Problems with battery;

* Problems with stamina;
* Smartphone heating up too much;
* Problems with Bluetooth;
* Problems with the camera in movie mode;

This weekend on a trip, my smatphone heating up too much, in standy by mode, even with all terminated processes.

The battery did not last 08 hours in Stamina mode (economy)

The camera in mode HD and Full HD movie, presented the message that the device was hot and closed, in less than one minute filming....

 Hello, I also encountered a problem when connecting to my computer to upload stuff. It crashes my windows explorer! I can not only not load my storage/ SD card but also the whole windows explorer stops functioning... SONY PLEASE!

Since updating to the latest build and doing a software repair last week I'm noticing the heat and battery drain. My phone gets really hot while performing simple tasks and have very few apps installed

Same issue with the battery drain. Terrible Sony never fixed problem this is not a cheap ph. Started to loose patience problem started since MM Sony please for the last time fix it

I have the Z5 I was away on holiday when i got the usual notification to update android to latest build so i done the usual made sure phone was charged, on wifi and proceeded to update, after the process noticed the phone was really hot so left it to cool down, when i tried to use my apps later nothing would work properly and it became very hot, tried the usual restart in safe mode, press power and volume to reboot etc so left until i was back today, just done a software repair and it seems to have sorted the phone now but still use it for a few minutes and it gets very warm.  I wondered if the actual apps not opening was due to "talkback" being switched on somehow as i had to press the screen first then 2 quick presses to open an app and the vibration was just doing what it wanted to do.  Sony really need to sort the over heating bit out though, what happens if this causes damage to the phone eh will we all be covered under warranties I wonder?!

My Z5 Compact gets hot at a much faster rate than before 😕 And this happens while browsing with Chrome or messaging with Whatsapp etc, they're not even CPU/GPU intensive tasks! I know repairing the phone with Xperia Companion would sort this issue out but come on, latest .253 update wasn't even a big update, it was supposed to fix bugs, not create more of them! I am sick of being have to repair the phone each time after even a tiny update you know, I've got loads of apps and registering/logging in for Whatsapp, Viber etc each time is a nightmare!

Same problem with my z5. It does seem to run hotter than before and my battery does not last the day anymore.

Sony - do you have an update in the works to fix this battery problem??

The headphone socket on my Z5P broke about a month ago. So i have been looking forward to this update for a while as the bluetooth media playback issue was driving me insane (constant pauses and stuttering).  Suffice to say that update .253 update seems to have fixed the issue and i can now listen to music via my bluetooth headphones and speakers BUT the phone gets way to hot now.  My phone battery went from 100% to 30% in 6 hours with only very light usage (Occasionally checking mails via gmail, web browsing via chrome and twitter).

This is ridiculous.  SONY are releasing firmware to go from one issue to another.

For every great hardware poing there are at least two software issues that bring the phone down. I thought I could live with a broken headphone jack IF the Bluetooth issue got fixed, but now with the phone overheting and taking upwards of 6 hours to charge!!!  I fear this is my last SONY phone especially with the new nexus just around the corner...
