Problems with texting

I have an issue when texting with the cursa jumping from the adress bar to the content bar without me asking it to, multiple names appearing then dissappearing. So far this is a distaster of a phone

Which build do you have. I have .489 and it doesnt do that anymore. Build .195 was notorious for jumping to the next field and back again.

Have.195 how do I update?

1.     Install PC Companion on a Windows PC from Support
2.     Turn on the phone, and connect it to the PC using a USB cable.
3.     In PC Companion, under Support Zone and click Start.
4.     Under Phone Software Update, click Start

5.     Follow the on-screen instructions.
