problems with lcd / digitizer

Hi guys,

recently had my vivaz U5i dropped and the lcd went, so bought a replacement (ebay) and installed it, all seemed fine except when i place the digitizer on top of the lcd it makes it soo dark i can hardly see even with brightness on full, the display on lcd itself looks fine just when i put digitizer on its place i cant see!!

The actual digitizer seems to be working ok, and funny thing is if i place it sideways on top of lcd i can see thruw fine!

Do you think its the digitizer that has is gone as well and need replacing or can it be a problem with the actuall screen, ie a polarity issue or something??

Dont want to go buying as digitizer if its not the problem!

As well does anyone know where i can get a new rf antenna cable replacement? can wire it directly myself but if i could get a cheap new cable it would be ideai, just seem very hard to find one!

unfortunately because i did not purchase the lcd from them, he seems reluctant to help, which i can undersand.

Guys who i bought lcd from dont answer me as well, and like i said, the actual lcd seems to be working fine, so guess im in a pickle......

Well, you can always use a repair centre.
