Problems updating the new xperia system update

Having facebook, whatsapp and dropbox downloaded I'm totally unable to update the new xperia system update v26.1.A.2.99  and some other application updates (google +) due to no free space.

I've an external sd card and already tried to move to the card all the info (some of the apps cannot be moved)

I'm sure that if I remove FB,whatsapp and dropbox I will be able to perform the updates but then there is no reason to say that I have a 'smartphone'

I would like to use that as a real smartphone so I need some help/guidances to know what apps I can remove to be able to work with my device as a real smartphone

@MEugenia

Try this

settings > apps > all > menu > sort by size > wait > wait > wait > wait > tap on the top apps > clear data > repeat as needed. There's no other way around this other than root the phone and partition the SD card, it's an Android limitation.

There is absolutely no reason to update to 2.99. This update will make your phone perform like a 2012 dual core device. It's full of lag and shuttering.

Thanks for the input, but it seems that @MEugenia is asking about memory .
