Problem With Speakers ( I think )

As i can see this is the speaker below the aluminium plate that covers the bottom's "big speaker"

SO the speaker 1 of mine doesnt work !! Can u tell me if this picture that i draw is real ( There are 2 speakers in the 2 sides of the bottom ) Both of them should work as i think !

Can you hear sound from the both sides?

Yes but mymain question is if there are 2 speakers or 1 and if the the picture i draw represents the 2 speakers location !

I have the same problem... The left speaker (Number 1 in the picture) doesnt work.. is it normal??

Is this really supposed to be true (Speaker 1 and 2) because if it is, mine doesn't work too. I try this be covering the left / right part of the speaker and the sound doesn't get muffled when I cover the part of speaker 1.

Can someone from Sony confirm the design of the speakers?

I have would like a confirmation too for the design of the speaker. I would be disappointed if there is only 1 speaker and.not 2 because there.are 2 "wholes "

on right side it is a speaker then in the middle we have microphoe but what we have on left side

My Z1 is like this also, but i think that no1(left) is not a speaker but a mic, and no middle, just speaker on the right (mono).

The speaker is located at the right side on the bottom of the phone (when looking at the front side). There's no speaker on the left side.

Ok, thats both good and sad to hear. Good because I know that my Z1 has no defect. Bad because then, what is on the left part of the speaker grill? Is it the Mic? If so, then I think the speaker grill just gives out an illusion that the speaker is bigger than it is when its not really the case.
