Problem with sony erricson Aino(U10i)

I am having problem with my phone's display and earpiece.

The display and earpiece started showing trouble signs one day, like distorted screen, no display (though used to go back to normal state in a while). same issue was with the earpiece.

Some days later, the display and the earpiece have completely stopped working.

My phone is not under warranty.

So can anyone please help me with this.

I had problems like that.

The thing I did was to clean the connection.

i was wondering what do you mean by cleaning the connection?

I think it can help you with the earpice! Maybe the display too. The connection you have to the earpice. This if you use a wire for the earpice? I had dirt there and could not connect the FM-transmitter MMR-70. If you have any metal object there making an short circuit these problems will appear.
