problem with registering warranty

hey guys brought the xperia go ystd and went online to register my warranty. but it says invalid IMEI number.. why?

When entering the IMEI number make sure that you only use the first 15 digits and do not include the dashes ( - ).

yeap i never include the dashes but the IMEI number is still invalid..
