problem with messaging apps

my phone is xperia s.from past one week watsapp,fb chat,hike are not working in my phone.when i uninstal it and again reinstall it,it says check your internet settings.all the other apps are working properly.ii tried restarting it many times but also its not working.i wil be very thankfull if you could tell me any solution to this.

This is an Jelly Bean update problem due to which 2g internet is not working properly.... Sony is trying to fix it... Till that time you can try using 3g internet....
