Problem with groups in contacts book in ICS

Hi.

I have ICS 4.0.4 (.587) on my Xperia Mini, and I've noticed that if I create new groups in the contacts app, apart from the default 3 ones (Coworkers, Family, Friends), the contacts that I put in this new groups do not appear in the general contacts list, and they can't be found through searching. The only way to reach them is by accessing their group. I also think that those contacts are not backuped when backing up the contacts in the sd card, since the number of the contacts backuped is less when some of them are put in a new group. These do not happen with the contacts that are added in the 3 default groups. So I think this may be a bug.

Have any other user noticed that? Are the contacts in the newly created groups backuped? Is that a regular characteristic of the Android or a bug? Either cases, I think it should be fixed, so that all contacts appear in the contacts' list. I hope it is in a future firmware update.

I haven't heard of this earlier at all so I'm not fully sure it's a general bug... Anyone else that have experienced it or can confirm it?

Well, I've checked this on Xperia J and Xperia Tipo, both with Android 4.0.4, and there wasn't such a problem. So I suppose it must be a bug of the firmware.

Can a user of an Xperia Mini with ICS 4.0.4 (.587) or someone of the support team check this please? That way we will be sure. Pleeeeease!
