Problem With google talk

For the past two days, I can not log into my google talk! It was working perfectly fine but now it just appears as: "signing in" but it never does. I do have WiFi access because I can access my gmail and I have internet. What can I do? I am going crazy!!! It's very frustrating! Please HELP!

P.S. I have a sony ericsson neo v ....ics...4.04, and I have tried turning the phone on and off and clearing all of the cache....clearing all the data

Have you tried just restarting your phone to see if it works? Do you get any kind of error message?

I haven't heard of anyone else facing any such issue so it sounds strange.

What do you think about this forum? Let us know by doing this short survey.

i have already mentioned that i tried restarting  the phone..if you know anything just post it but dont mark it as the question is  assumed answered without giving the solution to the problem...
