Problem with Google Navigation

Hi,

My Google Navigation has become useless because it constantly freezes, sometimes for a couple of minutes. Many times the phone just crashes and reboots after a while.

I'm not sure since when it is happenning, I think it was since the ICS upgrade, but I may be wrong.

Another thing I noticed is when I try to update apps, using Google play, most of the time I get an error: 'Insufficient storage available', however, according to the information on settings->apps I have 120 mb free.

I moved some Apps to the SD card and for some time I could update without problem, then the error message returned.

I think that although the phone says I have 120 mb free, maybe I have far less and that may be hanging and crashing Google Navigation and giving the 'Insufficient storage available' message.

Maybe there is a large file or lots of files that are not beeing taken into account, I don't know.

Any suggestions or solutions to the problem are welcome.

Regards.

I just went with the recommended option.

I am now developing the theory that maybe one partition is filled up with leftover files from gingerbread and the space reported is looked in another partition, and not the whole ROM.

That condition could result in incorrect space reporting. Let's see what I can dig up.

It would help if someone else jumps in the conversation. I am lucky in having your help, but having a one on one conversation defeats the purpose of a forum, it is more like email than a forum.

Some attention from Sony would also be appreciated, since this is the official forum, it would be nice to see them supporting their product. Instead, I'm digging up solutions to a problem they should be solving.

I'm writing this in hope that someone reads it and joins in the conversation, nothing wrong with you giving me help, of course.

Thanks

I agree, test it for a period of time and check if the problem returns.

Hi Johan,

Thank you for replying.

I also agree with you.

I think the problem is not solved and I predict that Google Navigation will malfunction again, but for the time being, I'll leave it as it is. I allready spent too much time on this problem.

Regrettably Google Navigation, never worked well again, but a master reset helped a lot.

Thank you for the suggestion.
