I am facing problem with device memory. There is 1.57 gb device memory is available and still it is showing 584 mb in use and 171 mb is available.How is it possible and whenever I try to download any app even of 5 mb it shows insufficient storage. I have moved some apps in internal storage but it didn't work. Please help.
If you have moved photo's and music etc then a file called thumbnail will have been left behind so you will need to delete this - To do this open your file manager and select to show hidden files and folders and then the file should be visible then delete it
Go to File Commander... move the photos u want from internal storage to sd card....then delete the DCIM folder in internal storage....after finishing this then create a new folder named as DCIM in internal storage itself.... Then check the internal storage.... ur problem will be solved.... @surbhi_brave
I am facing problem with device memory. There is no issue with internal storage. I can easily move files from internal storage to sd card. But I am unable to download apps due to insufficient device memory. And the fact is out of 1.57 gb device memory only 587 mb is in use then too it is showing that only 173 mb is available. How is it possible?
Problem is still there. I have deleted thumbnail and by this some space in internal storage is cleared. But there is no issue with internal storage. The problem is with device memory.@Thommo
