Problem with audio

My Xperia sola acts as if its earphones are still connected to it even though it is not. Notifications and Alarms are working just fine but Media sounds aren't. Now, I can't even place nor receive a call unless I plug in my earphones.

Please help. Everything was just working fine this morning.

I m also facing the same problem since this morning...I talked to a support team member and he adviced me to connect the phn to pc and update the software...

my phone is still in the software update mode..once its ova I ll let u knw

I did that but the pblm still persists....

updating the software helped but I lost all my data and contatcs frm phone...seems like a nightmare

Oh my God!! You did not back up your data, right?

I took a back of contacts and Messages but not of other softwares ...so I lost datas related to those softwares and emails...If u r planning to update the phn sftwar take a full bakup of phn..dnt hurry like me ,as I took bakup of only these 2 thngs...
