Problem with Arc S 2.3.4 firmware help!

I have a phone Sony Xperia arc S and  strange problem on it. It sometimes happens that the applications run by themselves! The touchscreen as it goes crazy and starts to act on its own! When I put the phone into sleep mode and re-run the problem goes away but after a while it reappears. What's the problem? Is it a bug in question, or something else? Sorry for my bad english, I hope you understand my question

Make sure ICS is not available for your phone

Backup everything as it will erase all data on phone (sms, contacts,apps)

Update/Repair your phone via PCC or SUS

PCC (PC COMPANION) – Repair your software with this .First do the setup without connecting your mobile to pc.(only connect when you are asked to).

Do it as follow >> PCC > SUPPORT ZONE> SOFTWARE UPDATE> REPAIR SOFTWARE (written with blue)

I upgraded my phone on ICS 4.0.4. My problem is thus solved! Thanks again for your help!
