Problem on Sony Ericsson Vivaz U5 Need Help !

While i try to Connect my Sony ericsson vivaz u5i to my pc a error pops up "USB device not recognized" i use windows 7 as my operating system ,please need help urgently, thanks in advance !!

I would first try another cable as this can clarify if it was related to the cable or not, if the same error message appears I then suggest trying another PC if the error message does not appear then we can clarify that the PC may have issues with the USB drivers or ports themselves.
