Problem in wifi

My phone is experia j. I've updated my phone to Android 4.1.2, but the wifi is disabled and does not search at all. And is not connected to any network. Thanks for your help.

it reminds me of notification LED problem in 2011 Xperia lineup in ICS Update and you never fixed it!!!

XDA-DEVs fixed it in few weeks!!!

difference between two situation is first problem is local but second was global.

conclusion is when you didn't fix a global problem you don't fix iranian's problem.

I don't suggest this phone to him.

in mobile forums in my country people saying that in leaked official ROM of Xperia S WiFi don't work for iranians too.

probably in final official update this problem will exist.

I think we deserve at least a simple answer to this question:

This issue should be fixed in software 11.2.A.0.31.

If you haven't received this update yet it might not be available for your device just yet.
The update started rolling out last week so I suggest that you connect your phone to PC Companion, Update Service or Bridge for mac from time to time to check for new software updates.

I was also having same problem on my experia j after update to 11.2.A.0.33, I think I 'might' have found a fix, first disconnect from WiFi network. Then hit forget on the WiFi you are connected to. Then hit the blue switch that turns WiFi off. Wait maybe a minute, and maybe close off some apps that try to access the internet. E.g. Force close facebook etc. Then turn on WiFi an. Connect. This helped me and I thought I would try to help.
