This is an absolute disgrace for Sony!!!!! How long are you going to take to fix a simple software issue??!?!?!?
And your so called expert on this forum has been absolutely useless. I'm not going give you my personal information, such as my phone number and etc., what does that have to do with the faulty update you provided for the Middle East. To see the problem go back and evaluate the update which you put out for this region which has caused this problem for a great number of people.
Hey, same problem here too, and there is something else, after reflashing without the SIM card in, the wifi works fine on JB, but whenever I turn off and insert SIM and turn on, wifi goes blind!
why sony mobile support does not solve this problem ?
Sony we all are sry for u!!
What a mess!!
I don't know it is because we are Iranian or not...!!
Anyway, but we are never ever getting back to sony...
Dear Iranian angry Xperia J users:
please:
1- Do not use Persian in your conversations.
2- Please consider this point that producing a cell phone is a big product. And in this way off course there is a way for debugging the problems. This forume is one of them. So you can be sure that Sony knows the problem and there are working on it. But I like you do not know they are working on it or they queue it for later.
3- Please stop treating Sony if you do not have the authority of applying it. For instance sentences like Iranian will not buy your product sony! is funny in my opinion.
4- If you really like to do some thing you can just put forward debugging this problem for sonny with informing the journals. So any of you who has a link in a journal or IT news website please send an email for me to this address: rhesami@gmail.com.
Best wish for all of you who offcourse are as valuable as other people in all around the word.

I agree with the fact that everyone should use English on this forum in order to get our point across to Sony and clearly provide them with information regarding our problem.
But the rest of your arguments are preposterous. First of all it is Sony’s responsibility to provide first grade service to ALL of its customers. Talking as an Iranian who has lived most of my life in the west I can tell you from experience that if this issue had taken place in the US (for example) Sony would have taken much greater care in gaining the customer's satisfaction regarding their products while making sure to inform the concerned customers on the progress of the solution to the issue. On this forum we have been met with absolutely ZERO help or information regarding this problem, I believe the Sony expert on this forum has yet to acknowledge the existence of this issue for the Middle East region.
Secondly, Sony knows best that Iran is one of its biggest markets in the greater Middle East. This company has already lost much of its market share to its competitors, notably Samsung. If you take time to visit the major mobile phone markets in Tehran, you will see that the word is already getting out regarding Sony’s faulty upgrades, and lack of timely response regarding such issues. Already the current Xperia series which had been met with great enthusiasm by Iranian consumers is quickly losing its high place among Iranian consumers who are opting to go with Sony’s competitors who are providing far greater service for their products.
Your last point, I honestly don’t know what you are talking about. It makes zero sense. And why are you taking offense here. If you don’t have a problem with your Sony product, assuming you are a Xperia user, then don’t post on forums in which people are trying to get their problems across to Sony. You’re not a representative of Sony, I really don’t understand why you’re here taking your time to post nonsense on an issue which apparently doesn’t even concern you.
THIS IS SONY’S PROBLEM, WE HAVE ALL PAID MONEY FOR THEIR PRODUCT, AND WE DESERVE TO HAVE OUR PROBLEM RESOLVED IN A TIMELY MANNER.
Hi
Just like others, I have Xperia J. I have upgrade to 4.2 two times. With sus and also sony pc software.
Then I used other user guide and downgrade to 4.0.4. This process waists three days of mine.
I am angry that sony do not pay attention to this problem.
I never lived out of Iran, I just express my opinion as a software Eng.
I am ready to inform other Iranian about sony fault on this point but in a effective way.
But why I mentioned this point here? I think you are right. I am not sure here is the best place.
I hope they solve this problem as soon as possible.
Same Problem. I dont know what to do. Waiting for solving problem or downgrade to 4.0.4? If it takes long time to solve the problem please tell us here to at least downgrade to previous version.
My friend has the same problem with it's xperia J.
She updated the OS to the latest version and after that it doesn't connect to any wireless. I checked it. After I changed the sim card from Iranian operator to Dubai operator and reset to factory default, it wireless got connected with no problem. Whenever I change the sim card with iranian sims, it won't connect to any wireless network and in my home, I just change the sim card or even take the sim card out and after a reset to factory, the wireless works good.
How can I fix the problem?
