My phone is experia j. I've updated my phone to Android 4.1.2, but the wifi is disabled and does not search at all. And is not connected to any network. Thanks for your help.
it doesnt work... this is def a problem with the software after the update. as i said the wifi sign turns on in the 'settings' menu and within the wifi menu itself the sign is "on" and shows "searching for wifi networks..." but at the top of the screen next to the battery percentage and the signal strength where normally the wifi sign would show up after it had been turned on, it does not come up. Everything else works fine, the bluetooth turns on and the sign shows up on the top of the screen. the only problem is with the wifi. I've noticed on Persian forums that a great number of people, if not everyone, who has upgraded the xperia J to JB has this exact same problem
Hey, same problem here too, and there is something else, after reflashing without the SIM card in, the wifi works fine on JB, but whenever I turn off and insert SIM and turn on, wifi goes blind!
whould u plz explain how to remove notification for new update on top of home screen. it's annoying?( I downgraded to preveious version of android cause of WIFI peoblem)
