problem in updating xperia sl - Sony

i connected my phone xperia sl to the pc companion and clicked on install update. after the download is over its saying that its preparing the phone but the update process doent start , computer says usb device not recognised , i tried connecting by pressing volume key down but again the update doesnt start pls help me with this

i havent had any this kind of prblms during last update

now my phon is dead trying to switch on but its not waking

re-install PC Companion > restart your PC > Disable your firewall and antivirus > try again

you can try SUS instead of PCC
