Problem downloading applications and updates.

Ever since my phone (xperia neo v) got upgraded to the ICS version..I'm not able to download anything..including apps, updates from the market, images from google etc. I tried clearing the data and cache for the market but it still isnt working.

What's the exact error message that you're getting? Are you able to use the browser? Did you set up your Google™ account?

I'm getting an error (495).. My Google account is already set up..and I'm able to use the browser as well. The internet connection is perfect. I got suggestions like clearing up the cache and data of the market app but it doesn't work. And also some people advised to uninstall the updates for market by going to the "Manage applications"  setting, but unfortunately, there isn't any such option in Xperia NeoV.

Try to clear data for the Play Store app and then reboot your phone.

Settings - Apps - All - Google Play Store - Uninstall updates / Clear data

If clearing the app did'nt solve it I'd suggest you to try to update your phone's software.

You can do it with our program PC Companion, available for download on the link below.

Just start the section called Support Zone and follow the given instructions.
