Hello everyone, I own a Sony Xperia Z (C6602) . I've recently put the phone into water and later I realized that the power button wasn't responding .
The only way how I could unlock the phone was by plugging in the phone and charging. After some time I noticed that I could unlock the phone using the volume up button .
It's really weird that the phone is unlocking by using the volume up button instead of the power button .
How do I get the phone to unlock by using the power button ?
Please help me out guys .
Can you please open up the various tabs on the phone and check the liquid damage indicators. If no water has got into the tabs implying they were sealed then they should have a small white square there, if it is pink then one of the tabs was not closed properly and water has got in.

I've checked all the tabs, two of them are showing me a pink indicator. I guess water went into the phone. Would you recommend me to go to a nearby Sony care center and get it checked?
Yes I would, please contact your local Xperia Care team and they will be able to advise you on how to go about this.
