This is regarding Sony India service policy.
This complaint is about my worst experience at Sony service centre.
I bought phone on 19th July, 2015. It fell and the screen broke into pieces. Sony claims this model has corning gorilla glass so it is safeguard to any breakage but however!
I gave my phone to your service centre- 'F1 Info Solutions and Services Private Limited', Connought Place, New Delhi. On 28th July, they promised me to give a repairing budget in 2 to 3 days, which was delayed for almost a week. And when I called them to inquire, they answered that repairing budget will be given in 10 to 12 days.
This is shocking! If you are taking 15 days to give me a repairing budget then you must be taking few months to get it repaired. Had I been aware of the laziness and incompetency of the service centre, I would have definitely tried somewhere else. I was stalled for almost a fortnight. They need to scrub off this casualness in order to tend to customers.
I must not refrain from pointing out the sheer inadequacy of 'Sony Chat Help Executive', they did not contended me on my queries and sadly they concluded the session without a productive settlement. Also, I was asked to pay total amount of recovery charges (Rs.5200) IN ADVANCE! I don't see any point in paying you the total amount beforehand! I don't think any other company follows such stupid policy! I had to travel a long distance twice just to pay them beforehand. I fail to understand their contentious approach over this! A customer who has already paid over Rs.20000/- for the phone only a week ago, would run away from paying the recovery charges, while the phone is with them only. Well, that's disgraceful. I have decided to consult a lawyer regarding all this. I hope Sony India would try to justify their stand over this matter.
NOTE- Till date there is no communication from Sony India as on yet. My mobile still unrepaired service center guys making false commitments.
